Business reporting
Understand the profitability of every vehicle.
HOSS already holds your jobs, prices and drivers’ recorded times. Reporting turns that data into clear performance measures: revenue by customer, punctuality by driver and profitability by vehicle, with every figure linked to the jobs behind it.

Reports
Select a period, from the last seven days to the last twelve months. Every figure opens the jobs it is based on.
- Overview
- Completed, active and cancelled jobs, completion rate and average job value, alongside invoiced, paid, outstanding and overdue amounts.
- Revenue
- Invoiced, paid, awaiting payment, overdue and unsent invoices, VAT collected, revenue over time and your highest-value customers.
- Ready to invoice
- Delivered jobs with a POD that have not yet been invoiced, oldest first, with the total value awaiting invoicing.
- Jobs and punctuality
- On-time performance for collections and deliveries, late arrivals and the extent of lateness, and average time on site, based on drivers’ recorded times.
- Drivers
- Jobs, completion rate, on-time performance, late arrivals and average time on site for each driver.
- Customers
- Jobs, completed work, and total invoiced, paid and outstanding for each customer.
Vehicle profitability
Record your costs once, and HOSS apportions them across whichever period you review.
- Profitability by vehicle
- Revenue, costs, profit and margin for each unit and trailer, including its share of business overheads, with a full cost breakdown for every vehicle.
- Revenue by driver
- Jobs, revenue and average revenue per job for each driver, matched to the vehicle used on the day. Revenue from shared jobs is apportioned by stop.
- Fleet and overhead costs
- Fuel, insurance, road tax, repairs, tyres, wages, finance and other costs, recorded as daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual amounts with start and end dates.
- Automated cost capture
- Upload a fuel invoice or maintenance receipt, and HOSS reads the registrations, amounts and dates into cost entries for review before saving.
- Upcoming cost expiries
- Costs with an end date, such as insurance renewals, are highlighted before they lapse.
Day-to-day performance
- Revenue against target
- The planning board shows each driver’s daily revenue, the average per driver and progress against the daily target you set.
- Margin on subcontracted work
- Subcontracted jobs show their profit and margin on the job and on the planning board.
- Audit log
- A complete record of who changed what across your organisation, with the values before and after each change.
- Access control
- Reporting is available to administrators by default, and access can be granted to individual office users.
