There are no feature tiers or add-on modules. Every customer has access to the full HOSS platform.
- Planning board
- Day, week and two-week views with drag-and-drop allocation, revenue per driver, provisional bookings, and the empty mileage between consecutive jobs, calculated from Google distances.
- Multi-stop jobs
- Multiple collections and deliveries on a single job, a different driver for each stop, and handover points for trailer or yard exchanges.
- Booking import
- Paste a booking or upload a PDF, and HOSS reads it into a draft job for review. Corrections made by the office improve future imports.
- Outlook add-in
- Convert the open email into a job, a quote or a job update without leaving Outlook, including in shared mailboxes.
- Driver app
- An iOS and Android app with a single action for each next step, problem reporting, fuel logging, and offline storage of updates and PODs until signal is restored.
- Proof of delivery
- Multi-page document scanning with edge detection, photographs and signatures, and mandatory photos for individual stops.
- POD check
- Every POD is checked on upload for legibility, a signature and a printed name, and flagged if it mentions damage or a refusal. The driver is alerted; the delivery is never blocked.
- Customer portal
- Customers view their jobs, request bookings for your approval, negotiate quotes, download PODs and invoices, and raise issues.
- Customer tracking link
- A shareable link for each job showing its progress, stops and PODs, with the driver’s live position as an option.
- Invoicing
- A ready-to-invoice list of delivered jobs, configurable invoice layouts, payment terms by customer, waiting time and surcharge lines, VAT and PDF invoices.
- Xero
- Individual or batch export to Xero with PODs and job images attached, customer matching, and synchronisation of payments, voids and deletions every five minutes.
- Subcontracting
- Mark a job as subcontracted and email the subcontractor a branded job sheet with the agreed rate. They update the job from a private link: ETA, arrival, photos and POD.
- Messaging
- Office and driver channels with attachments, mentions and read receipts, plus a shared conversation with each subcontractor and their driver on the job.
- Reports
- Revenue, jobs, drivers and customers over a selected period, with every figure linked to the underlying jobs, plus punctuality and time on site.
- Daily vehicle checks
- DVSA-style walkaround checks with versioned templates, random spot-check photos, automatic defect reporting for failed items, and PDF or bulk export for audit.
- Fleet and drivers
- Vehicle types, unit and trailer assignments, costs, defects and off-road status, fuel logs with receipt reading and MPG, and holiday and leave management.
